Does this state require Home Inspectors to be licensed?
No, however, on July 1st, 2001 the new Home Inspector Licensing Laws (Title 5-65-1). All home inspectors operating in the State of Rhode Island will need to be licensed by the Contractors Registration and Licensing Board and will be subject to the laws as defined.
