The information contained below is designed to provide a summary of the minimum education, experience, and examination requirements established by the Wyoming Real Estate Commission.

Salesperson License
- Be at least 18 years old
- Submit proof of legal presence
- Complete the required Salesman Course I (30 hours) and Salesman Course II (24 hours)
- Pass the State examination
- Submit proof of Errors and Omissions insurance
- Complete Fingerprint card and background check
- Submit application and associated fees
Associate Broker/Broker License
- Be at least 18 years old
- Submit proof of legal presence
- Complete the required Broker Course I (30 hours) and Broker Course II (24 hours)
- Pass the State examination
- Submit proof of Errors and Omissions insurance
- Complete Fingerprint card and background check
- Submit application and associated fees
Continuing Education
- Complete 45 hours of state approved courses every 3 years,
- These courses must include 24 hours of Mandatory courses including:
- Marketplace Issues (8 hours)
- Contracting, Trust Account and Closing (8 hours)
- Practice Applications (8 hours)
- The other 21 hours are elective courses
Sales agents renew December 31st every 3 years.
